Our dog, Simon, is the star of our dog bakery and boutique, and customers love to see him. Now, even when he takes a day off, his presence remains. A spectacular 3’ x 4’ image of Simon hangs on the wall, greeting everyone who walks through the door. Anthony captured Simon’s essence; his joie de vivre dominates the clear blue sky background. Every detail, from the wisps of soft fur blowing gently along his proud ears to his mocha eyes sparkling in the sun, adds to the vibrancy of the photo. Customers always compliment the piece, amazed at how lifelike it is. During that same photo shoot, Anthony shot an incredible image of our kitten, Tristan. People can’t believe it is a photograph, as it is truly work of art. The vibrancy of the colors and unique point of view embody the spontaneous energy of an eight-week old kitten exploring a new world. For both photo sessions, we left the artistic direction completely in Anthony’s hands, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the results. His amazing creativity is matched by his skills of capturing his vision and infusing the resulting print with three-dimensional qualities.

Anthony’s talents and skills are enhanced by his natural affinity with animals. Pets immediately take to him, and he instantly picks up on their individual spirit. Rather than the contrived photographs you so often see in portraits, Anthony’s pictures tell a beautiful story of his subject. All of Anthony’s talents and skills were put to the test when he volunteered to take photos with Santa at our shop, to benefit local pet rescue groups. For four Saturdays, Anthony devoted his day to taking pictures of pets he had never met, in a store crowded with holiday shoppers and distractions, with limited space and very limited time. Professional as always, Anthony focused on each dog, and took one fantastic shot after another. Our customers were delighted with Anthony’s work, many commenting that they were the best pictures ever taken of their dog. Having a photographer of Anthony’s caliber to donate his time was an amazing gift. Not surprisingly, word of the amazing Santa photos quickly spread, and a record amount of money was raised for animal rescue.
